The Zen Technologist is a publishing business run by Martin Croft in the United Kingdom. Contact: info@zentechnologist.co.uk.
The journals
We publish The Stillness Series — guided 30-day reflective journals. Journals are currently supplied as digital PDF files. Paperback and hardback editions may be added over time and, where offered, are produced to order by a print-on-demand supplier and shipped directly to you.
Your licence to use a digital journal
When you buy a digital journal we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to download it and use it for your own reflection, on your own devices, and to print a copy for your own use. You may not resell it, share the file, upload it anywhere public, or reproduce it for others. Copyright in all text and design remains with The Zen Technologist.
Price and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable tax. Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe. Your order is accepted once payment has cleared.
Delivery of digital journals
After payment you will receive an email with a secure download link. The link is time-limited, so please save your files somewhere safe. If a link expires or a file will not open, contact us and we will sort it out.
Not therapy or medical advice
The journals are a companion for reflection. They are not therapy, counselling or medical advice, and they are not a substitute for professional help. If you are struggling, please speak to a qualified professional or your GP.
Availability and changes
We may update, withdraw or change the price of a journal at any time. Changes do not affect an order we have already accepted.
Our responsibility to you
We take reasonable care to make sure the files we supply are complete and readable. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care, but we are not responsible for anything outside our reasonable control, and we do not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
